Dane Bank Green Space Community Group

In 2019, the Council’s positive and constructive approach allowed the Campaign Committee to reinvent itself as the Dane Bank Green Space Community Group a proactive community group with a mission to protect and enhance the open space, promoting environmental awareness and education.

Other than the Fishing Pond and Forest School, the Group manages all other areas of the Main Field including the Duck Pond, Sensory Garden and Nature Trail.

The Group will be responsible for managing and maintaining the proposed Ecolodge expected in 2025/26.
