Phase 1
In 2020, the Dane Bank Green Space organisation was formally registered as a charity (Reg: 1189904). This allowed the Charity to successfully apply to the Big Lottery and Postcode Lottery for grants to open up and develop a former horse grazing field that had been closed to local residents for over 50 years.
From the outset, progress was severely constrained by the Covid lockdown and ongoing National Emergency but the following key milestones were achieved over the next two years:
