Dane Bank Green Space Charity

The Dane Bank Green Space Charity was born from a dedicated group of local residents who tirelessly campaigned against the construction of nearly 200 houses on the Windsor Road Fields. Our primary goal is to promote environmental protection and awareness through various conservation activities, including tree and hedge planting, as well as making appropriate site improvements. We strive to keep the local community well-informed about our objectives and progress, ensuring our initiatives benefit residents of all ages.

In February 2020, we submitted a formal application to the Charity Commission for England and Wales to establish the ‘Dane Bank Green Space Charitable Incorporated Organisation’ (DBGS CIO). We were granted charity status in June 2020. Currently, our organisation is overseen by four Trustees, each bringing a wealth of relevant experience and expertise to guide our efforts.
