The story so far

As part of our ongoing improvements to the Dane Bank Green Space, the charity trustees are excited to share their plans for an Ecolodge. Run by the community for the community, this will be a unique, environmentally friendly building designed to experience nature, learn about sustainability and connect with the local community.

What will the Ecolodge offer?

• Open-plan space for educational programmes, cultural experiences and community events.
• Opportunities for adventure activities, conservation efforts and support services.
• A hub for the promoting health, wellbeing and environmental awareness.

How can the community get involved?

Come along to one of our two presentations at
Denton West Community Centre, Hulme Road, M34 2WZ,
Friday 27 February 2026 at 1:30pm or 7pm.
Following the two sessions, we will submit final plans and a Stage 2 NationalLottery funding bid. We anticipate construction later this year.
